Job Description

·      Candidate should have broad experience with gas turbine, steam turbine, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, and diesel reciprocating engines

·     A minimum of eight (8) years experience in the refinery or oil and gas, petro-chemical related industry with five (5) years hands-on experience working on Gas Turbines, Compressors, Steam Turbines, Diesel Engines, particularly in overhauling, and servicing

·     Carries out preventive maintenance work on a wide variety of rotating equipment

·     Assembly / disassembly of rotating equipment

·     Installation/removal and Inspection of dry gas seals, bearings, couplings Execute scheduled inspections on Gas Turbines, Combustion Inspection, Hot Gas Path Inspection, Major InspectionsExperienced in the interpretation of all engineering documents including datasheets, P & IDs, etc

·     Monitors all safety aspects of daily work under his control

·     Provides effective liaison and communication with the operators during all mechanical work under his control

·     Accepts responsibility for compliance with all Company standards on any assigned work or projects

·      Performs day or night shift duties as required

·     Reports to his direct Supervisor, on any safety, administrative, operating or technical issues

·     Acts as work performing authority on rotating equipment operations follows Company HSE rules and PTW system

·     Should be familiar with basic principles of mechanical engineering applicable to rotating equipment

·     Should be fully familiar with using Special Tooling, Hy-Torq, Rotalign Laser alignment tool, dial indicator, etc

·     Should be familiar with First Aid medical treatment of an electrocuted person

·     Should be familiar with instructions for the safe use of breathing apparatus

·     Should be familiar with instructions for use of cascade air breathing equipment

Location : Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Karabatan

A minimum of five (5) years experience working on Gas Turbines, Compressors, Fans and Power Generation Equipment, particularly on General Electric, Siemens, Caterpillar

Excellent English speaking/writing with 5+ years as Mechancial Engineer, Technician positions, preferably with oil & gas and rotating equipment experience

BSc in Engineering, Mechanical

Professional courses i.e. BOSIET, Safety Awareness Training, specific software, etc.
