QHSE Specialist


Responsibilities:

·         Coordinate, update and issue documents of the Company Management System;

·         Plan and perform internal Quality and Safety audits/inspections with CAR registration and follow-up of actions;

·         Prepare monthly toolbox subjects for discussions and issue to Department Managers;

·         Identify and report on Quality and Safety related problems;

·         Actively participate in the review and improvement of the Company’s Management System;

·         Monitor the waste disposal systems (office, warehouse);

·         Review and adhere to the Legislative Acts and Regulations affecting Quality and Safety;

·         Carry out general QA/HSE tasks in liaison with Project Manager and/or Technical Director;

·         Arrange Safety trainings when needed for staff;

·         Prepare relevant HSE documents for Company submission of tenders / proposals;

·         Support the preparation of project specific HSE information;

·         Liaise with Project Managers regarding field toolboxes, safety drills, safety audits etc. required for the monthly HSE statistics;

·         Assist in developing of Mob/Demob Project plans, lifting plans etc. as required;

·         Provide HSE Induction program for newly hired employees;

·         To conduct HSE meeting periodically as required;

·         To undertake any other duties as appropriate (within the person’s competency), as required by Project Manager / Managing Director from time to time.

·         Provide induction of employees into the Company HSE Management System;

·         Be responsible for the filing of Management System documents in accordance with the relevant procedures and maintain the archive register.

·         Maintain and update the induction register and liaise with Human Resources Coordinator on employee’s HSE performance;

·         Registration and follow-up of Corrective Action Reports (CAR) from internal and 3rd party audits;

·         Registration and follow-up of accidents / incidents reported, coordinate Incident investigations and reporting;

·         Maintain and update the Safety Statistics;

·         Prepare Safety Statistics information for monthly and quarterly reporting, or any other such report for Client or 3rd party.

·         QHSE Job functions:

·         Representing the management during certification and surveillance audits;

·         Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization;

·         Preparing and revising the IMS documents (including, but not limited to the Integrated Management System Policy Manual, Integrated Management System Procedure Manual and other documentation);

·         Ensuring the compliance of all the functions as described in the Integrated Management System;

·         Ensuring that processes needed for the Integrated Management System are established, implemented and maintained;

·         Preparing a Management Review Meeting Schedule and assisting on conducting Management Review Meetings;

·         Reporting to MD on the performance of the Integrated Management System and any need for improvement;

·         Preparing Audit schedules, Conducting Internal Audits, preparing Audit Reports, writing Non-conformity Reports and Corrective Action Reports (where applicable);

·         Communicating to MD on Quality, HSE and Environmental issues / Non-conformities & Audit Reports;

·         Measuring & Monitoring the IMS process performance;

·         Initiate, control and validate necessary corrective and preventive actions;

·         Enhancing IMS awareness for management and labour force by initiating and conducting internal trainings;

·         Review the IMS policies periodically;

·         Review of all the functions periodically; check the effective implementation of FKP’s Integrated Management System;

·         Ensure that the processes are described in practical and understandable terms that will satisfy all requirements;

·         Responsible for distribution of the Internal Audit Reports to the appropriate functional Managers and tracking open issues;

·         Retain or monitor the collection and filing of Quality Records.

 

Requirements:

·         University degree in an Oil/Gas or HSE related subject;

·         Min. 5 year experience in the oil and gas industry with QHSE experience;

·         Computer & General admin skills will be beneficial;

·         Technical background

 

·         HSE Requirements:

·         The individual has the duty to care for their own health and of others affected by their actions at work;

·         Must comply so far as he/she is reasonably able, with the safety procedures and directions given by FKP;

·         Must not willfully interfere with or misuse items or facilities provided in the interests of safety and health of FKP employees; and

·         Must, in accordance with agreed FKP procedures for accident and incident reporting, report potential and actual hazards.
