Open Position for local specialists (Kazakhstan).

Schedule:  Tengiz 28/28

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Demonstrate Safety Leadership. Ensure the work is performed in a safe and efficient manner

·  Develop and maintain a Project Plan, identifying all requirements to meet the project deadlines. The Senior Well Engineer will be the key individual responsible for delivering the project according to Zhaikmunai LLP Well Delivery Process

·  Review offset drilling campaigns and ensure Lessons Learnt are captured for the upcoming well campaign

·  Interface with Subsurface team to ensure all well objectives are documented in the Statement of Requirements

·  Prepare Basis of Design for vertical / deviated / extended reach / horizontal / sidetracks

·  Develop ITT Scope of Work and provide technical input for procuring drilling equipment and services, including the land drilling rig

·  Support delivery of Long Lead items

·  Prepare Drilling Programs and cost / time estimates.

·  Organize Peer reviews, DWOPs, HAZOPs and Risk Assessments

·  Engage and manage service companies in delivery of required services in a safe, timely and efficient manner

·  Assist Senior Well Engineer and Cost Engineer in preparation of Well AFE and Long Term budgets

·  Provide full operational support to Well Delivery Manager and Field Wells Manager during the execution phase of the project

·  Prepare and submit EOWR

·  Optimize operations to minimize time, cost and risk exposure.

·  Responsible for QA/QC of all Well Engineering work (casing design, torque and drag, string design, etc)

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIREMENTS

·  Previous experience as Well Engineer or Drilling Engineer

·  Demonstrate leadership with no tolerance for safety violations

·  Ability to work in team environment

·  Minimum 2+ years of experience in Drilling Industry

·  Verbal and written English and good reporting skills. Preferable skills in “Open Wells” reporting system

·  Valid Medical Certificate

·  Valid H²S certification Valid certificate of Regulations and Rules of RoK

·  Location: RoK, WKO, Uralsk, Main office
