POWER GENERATION OPERATOR (FOR KZ PASSPORT HOLDERS)

Qualifications & Experience:

Appropriate education from a certified Technical School, College or University or other appropriate life Skills to offset Education requirements.

The fundamentals of electricity, particularly as applied to power generation or distribution; the methods and techniques of general mechanical repair work.

RoK codes and regulations for Power Plant grid Operating Regulation RD 34 RK.20 501-02

Basic Knowledge of RoK Safety Rules for Operations of Consumers electrical installation  RD 34RK.03-202-04 Based on the Operator Level, job holder must have:

Operator II

Minimum 2 years experience in Power Generation Industry plus a minimum 1 year practical experience as PGP Operator Level III.

Proven knowledge and basic skills in general power generation plant operations.

Proficient in two of the areas of the Onshore Generation Plants, i.e. gas or steam turbine power generators or PGP auxiliary/utility systems.

RoK Electrical switching level 4

Upon 6 months working as Power Generation Operator, Level II, need to pass assessment as per Job Competency Profile for this position successfully.
