Chef (Expat Position)  

Location: Tengiz 6/3

· Higher (postgraduate) education in relevant specialty or secondary technical and vocational (specialized secondary and vocational) education in relevant specialty (qualification)

· More than 5 years of experience in a relevant position. Desired work experience as a Cook

· Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience

· A strong practical and applied knowledge of multi-national cooking, catering technology, and intermediate food safety

· Strong understanding of catering budgets and daily costing analysis

· Management processes: efficient leadership, organizational & communication skills

· Practical & applied knowledge of but not limited to: Basic cookery & methods of cooking; handling of catering tools & equipment; national & internal dishes production

· Knowledge of the technology & requirements for the safe production; storage & service of food products to the Client, Company & RoK standards

· Practical & applied knowledge of the technology required for the cleaning of various areas of the catering department to Client, Company & RoK standards.

· Good verbal and written skills

· Computer literate, with experience of MS Professional.

· Legislative and other normative legal acts of the republic of Kazakhstan, relating to the organization of catering service, organization, and technology of operations 

· Assortment and requirements of meal quality and culinary products, basis of a rational deistic meal, rules of menu preparation, procedures of counting and norms of product issue, norms of materials and semi-finished products consumption, meal calculation, standards and technical conditions of food products, raw materials, and semi-finished products

· Rules and conditions of storing meal, raw products, semi-finished products, types technological equipment, work principles, technical features and conditions of its exploitation

· The basis of the labor organization, labor legislation of the republic of Kazakhstan, rules of internal procedures, rules and norms of labor protection, rules of operation sanitation and fire protection
