Electrical Engineer
Requirements and responsibilities:
- Higher technical degree in Electrical Engineering (4 or 5 year programme)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience, 10 preferred, in electrical engineering in a majority of the knowledge and competency subjects described below (design, build, install, test, operate & maintain)
- Demonstrated field experiences in Electrical Engineering - Power
- Knowledge:
- Generation and distribution systems
- Alternators, transformers, switchgear, transformers, overhead lines, cables
- Earthing & bonding systems and lightning/surge protection
- Power system analysis and tools
- Protection concepts, applications, tools
- Power Management systems, FLS, PMS, EMS
- Motors, heaters, trace heating, convertors
- Specialized power systems
- Familiarity with IEC and other applicable standards
- Experience in protection applications and troubleshooting
- Hazardous area classification and management
- Experience and knowledge of formal programs for monitoring, trending and validation reliability programs
- Preferable knowledge of English, Kazakh and Russian
