 Head of Accounting Department

Responsibilities:

·         Manage all accounting aspects of Group of companies in Kazakhstan;

·         Responsible for maintenance and control for proper bookkeeping, cash accounting, account balance reconciliations, sales invoices, purchase invoices according to Kazakhstan legislation;

·         Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in accounting entries and documents;

·         Supervision and training the accounting staff in various aspects of accounting;

·         Improvement of accounting system SAP - suggest necessary controls to improve efficiency of the system;

·         Cooperation with various department heads to achieve shared goals;

·         Participate in monthly/quarterly/yearly closing;

·         Participate in Tax Audits – responsible for timely and accurate submitting of all tax invoices;

·         Other finance duties assigned by Finance Director/Chief Accountant

Requirements:

·         Higher education in finance/economics;

·         5+ years’ experience in accounting, preferably in the large production company;

·         3+ years’ experience in middle management position;

·         English - upper intermediate level (speaking and writing);

·         Good Excel knowledge (confident user);

·         SAP (FI/MM/SD modules) highly preffered;

·         Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;

·         Willingness and ability to learn fast;

·         Attentive to details and initiative.
