Logistics Engineer

 Coordination of day and night shift logistics operations activities at the Base, controlling of the main logistics operations contractors and all activities with respect to warehouse, yard and quayside operations.

 Coordinating of lifting equipment inspections activities. To ensure that all lifting and slinging equipment for handling are in full compliance with Company’s procedures & guidelines. Monitoring condition of all lifting operations equipments and devices such as (CCUs-Cargo Carrying Units, Slings, Spreader bars, overhead cranes, man-lifts, cranes, forklifts, shackles, hoists…)

 Nominated as Person Responsible for Area in the Company’s PTW (Permit to Work) system for Bautino Base and Daily Permit To Work activity (PTW Level-3 monitoring),

 Daily monitoring of main contractor plant equipment availability on site.

 Controlling the fuel bunkering and sampling activities inside and outside of Bautino Base. (Marine Fuel Station)

 Controlling the provision of Potable water & fuel to the Base from contractor’s site.

 Ensuring that all HSE&Q requirements related to materials handling and storage & loading / unloading are fully implemented.

 Assisting the line manager in the preparation of technical documentation for the Base Logistics Operations activity and in the development of training programs.

 Assist in carrying-out the HSE Golden Rules Visual Inspections.

 Maintaining close liaison with other departments involved in operations at Bautino Base (including Koshanai).

 Nominated as Engineer and Technicians responsible for Control over Safe Operation of Lifting Machinery, Load-Handling Devices and Packaging Materials at Bautino Base.

 Ensuring, in cooperation with line manager, that the activity at the base, movement of equipment and materials are carried-out in a consistent manner and in compliance with state and Company requirements.

 Ensuring that the quality of the works is carried out to a high standard;

 Administering daily/weekly/monthly progress of activities and reporting to line manager.

 Maintaining close liaison with other operations on the base.
