NET Developer

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of experience and training

• 5+ years experience in creating web applications using Microsoft technologies including: C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework

• Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft SQL Server and its tools (Management Studio, Stored Procedures, Indexes, SSIS, etc.)

• Knowledge of other Microsoft technologies (Azure, Office 356)

• Knowledge and experience with other web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JS , JQuery, AJAX, Frameworks such as Angular and Knockout)

• Knowledge of reporting tools and data analytics platforms such as Power BI and SSRS.

• Use of version control systems such as Git

• Knowledge of development using Agile project management methodologies such as Scrum.

• Great communication ability and interpersonal skills coupled with passion, drive, positive thinking and possession of the willingness and motivation to learn new skills and expand existing knowledge

• Fluency in English is required (written and spoken). Ability in Russian is an asset, but not mandatory.

• The position is permanent, full-time, and rotation-based (5/2 will be considered for candidates who are residents of Atyrau).

• This position will work with, and report to the IT Manager, as well as work with other stakeholders within the various departments of the organization

• The role is to be based out of our Atyrau, Kazakhstan office, but will require occassional travel to the field office in Tengiz for requirements gathering and rollout initiatives
