Power System Technical Analyst ( For KZ residents only )

• Must be a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  
• Higher technical degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in application and performance improvement of HV and LV electrical protection systems.
• Electrical protection concepts, applications, tools.
• Advanced theoretical understanding of electrical power systems, and good aptitude for problem evaluation.
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards, such as IEC, IEEE, Republic of Kazakhstan Rules and Regulation.
• Strong background and experience in most types of HV switchgear test and utility-scale power transformers and transmission lines up through 230 kV
• Experience in protection applications and troubleshooting, including primary and secondary measurements, switchgear instrument transformers, relays, control systems and power supplies (equipment specification, operational and maintenance requirements, reliability, and safety in design).
• Experience and knowledge of formal programs for monitoring, trending and validation of protection performance.
• Good Planning and Organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop positive rapport within reporting team and across departments.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, good team-work.
• Ability to solve and manage unique and complex problems.
• Technical skills and ability to address complex, specialty related issues.  
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills to all levels of Management.
• Microsoft Office competent user (Excel, Word)
• Achieves or exceeds English Intermediate level
