Cathodic Protection Consultant ( Tengiz 28/28)

Responsibilities:

• Provide CP Consultancy to all aspects of Cathodic Protection across all related TCO facilities at Tengiz, generally comprising the following:

• Mentoring TCO CP engineers and technicians in all Cathodic Protection matters.
• Assisting with the ongoing maintenance of all installed CP systems.
• Liaising with and instructing CP field crews regarding continuous/ongoing CP monitoring program.
• Ongoing review of incoming CP data including CIPS and DCVG etc.
• Setting up and maintenance of CP monitoring database and related data.
• Correlation of ROSEN/ILI data with CIPS & DCVG with regards to recommendations for coating repairs.
• Site visits as required.
• Retrospective commissioning and documentation associated with SGP & SGI CP systems.
• Preparation/review of CP Commissioning Job Packs, Operating Manuals, Procedures etc.
• Technical CP assistance across all TCO CP Projects on an ‘as required’ basis.
• General report writing.
• Failure investigations/analysis.
• Preparation of on-site CP designs.
• Troubleshooting CP problems found in the field.
• Technical review of Contractor designs and drawings for related TCO Projects.
• Technical input to all aspects of CP on FGP Project on basis of site experience gained at Tengiz.

Requirements:

• University Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma
• NACE Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent) qualification
• 6 – 10 years proven work experience in Oil & Gas Environment

• Language Skills: English - upper-intermediate

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office application (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
