Piping-Welding Inspector – PAR (For KZ residents only) Tengiz 28/28
- Minimum of eight (5) years experience in the specified inspection discipline and a minimum of three (3) years of construction activities in the contract's scope of work e.g. oil, gas and/or petrochemical projects.
- Fully conversant with applicable industry standards and specifications and shall perform a variety of inspection functions with minimal supervision.
- Able to read, interpret and communicate (both written and verbally) in English.
- Knowledge of job specified equipment including, but not limited to, the following equipment: pumps, motors, skids, valves, compressors, fired heaters, auxiliary equipment, packaged equipment piping systems, vessels and tanks.
- Monitor all aspects of Quality Control relative to specialization during the construction, to ensure adherence to the company technical requirements and applicable codes including SID (Safety in Design).
- Attend and witness testing associated with equipment and systems.
- Monitoring of procedures (for example WPS, PQR etc) and qualification testing. Verifying dimensions, certifications, material certification and traceability for all materials, and consumables.
- Assure contractor compliance with the approved program and review reports.
- Verify that all testing procedures have been approved and are on site.
- Confirm testing parameters are duly recorded and that testing equipment is calibrated.
- Review procedures for testing/examining components with the optimal method and techniques.
- Review and approve contractor work for all construction for quality and adherence to design requirements.
- Attend and witness testing associated with equipment and systems.
- Ensure nonconformances are identified, tracked and closed out.
