·         Demonstrates a high level of commitment to safety, environmental performance and continuous improvement.

·         Ensures that L&R jobs are planned, scheduled, and executed with the highest regard for personal safety and environmental excellence.

·         Works very closely with the Construction Superintendents and Supervisors, team leads, Business Partners.and mentors them

·         Quality assurance for all work including reviewing lift plans, conducting JSA reviews, and equipment inspections and Audits, competency evaluation of contractors and operators.

·         Conducts daily Field inspections / audits to assure compliance with project L&R procedure adherence by contractors.

·         Able to recognize job site L&R Hazards, verify proper rigging size/capacity, as well as proper equipment sizing /capacity for jobs being undertaken.

·         Verify contractors are properly capturing and documenting L&R equipment issues, rectification and close out.

·         Ensure all lifting equipment inspections meet the regulatory and company frequency..

·         Ensure rigging and lifting equipment has certified inspections, daily equipment inspections and up to date maintenance records.

·         Able to conduct conversations and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

·         Review planning for L&R needs, ie. Size of equipment needed, pads, soil samples, and lift criteria.

·         Audit of Business Partners – 1yr / 3yr Crane inspections 

·         Audit Business Partners R&L spreadsheets for quarterly inspections

·         Audit 3rd party (Sparrows / ServTech) inspections of newly erected cranes / certified lifting devices and related equipment.
