• Providing supervision and advice on diverse safety issues to the operations in line departments on an as-basis needed basis • Interfacing with regulators on safety matters • Writing HSE related procedures, work instructions, guidance notes, etc. • Undertaking Emergency response duties • Acting as an internal HSE audit team leader • Giving presentations on HSE related topics • Undertaking HSE Inspections of offices, accommodation and work sites • Performing statistical HSE trend analysis as part of the overall HSE performance monitoring process • Performing Job safety analysis and assist line personnel to undertake same • Participating and lead incident investigations • Reviewing and commenting on Contractor supplied HSE related documentations, such as HSE cases, HSE plans, Permit to Work system, Risk Assessments, SAFER Systems, etc. • Assist in the monitoring of HSE compliance of contractors • Supervising Junior members of the HSE Team when required • Preparing yearly HSE Activity Plan and working on it • Providing/Supporting/Participating in Emergency Drill and Exercises • Providing effective HSE leadership tours on weekly basis • Performing any other task requested by the line manager.
