Lead Cost Estimator

Maine function:

Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs
Break down all expenses and prepare reports to assist management in the organizing, planning and scheduling of work
Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
Develop and issue to market requests for quotations
Perform commercial bid evaluation based on received budgetary quotations
Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures
Consult with vendors, clients and management personnel to discuss estimates and resolve issues that may arise
Present cost estimates to Clients

Qualification:

Higher Education Degree (preferably in Engineering with Economics background)
Minimum 6 years of cost estimating experience preferably in the Oil & Gas sector and/or Construction sector
Must be efficient with estimating software such as ABC-4 or equivalent
Extremely strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
Fluent knowledge of English language is required
