JOB DUTIES:
- Assist the Project Pre-Commissioning Team with all aspects of Process and Metallurgical commissioning.
- Assist in the preparation of Risk Assessments of Plant Design, Construction and Pre-Activities.
- Assist in all activities related to Process Commissioning of designated process areas to ensure the timely completion of energization, testing and wet commissioning and assist with ore ramp up if requested.
- Work within the QA/QC site requirements.
- Assist with ensuring that all mechanical witness and certification tests are being conducted.
- Assist in the preparation of commissioning plans, procedures, C-1 and C-2 Test Sheet development and filing systems, Progress Tracking Register development and roll out and any other administrative duties required to ensure timely commissioning and completion of the project.
- Provide direct field assistance in C-1 testing and lead the C-2 activities for each Facility Area are.
- Assist the Lead Process Engineer with audits of the C-1 and C-2 Test Pack compilation and of the Progress Tracking Register. Assist the Data Entry Clerk if that person isn’t receiving timely test records for entry.
- Develop and manage C-2 test plans for all wet and air commissioning.
- Control commissioning in Facility Areas assigned to you and define the equipment sequence and then commissioning priority’s required in order to perform C-2 commissioning as discrete units and full circuits.
- As part of C-2 testing you will perform full interlocking and function checks back to the DCS/SCADA System for all Facilities Areas designated to you and confirm that all interlocking tables have been marked as tested and functional.
- Perform full interlock tests of all vendor process packages.
- Read the Pre-Commissioning Framework Plan to understand the Pre-Commissioning Protocols.
- Coordinate with multi discipline teams to deliver required work within allotted time frames.
- Assist with Vendor Management by maintaining a Vender Management Register, which includes Vendors Contact details and proposed schedule for site visit.
