Commissioning Superintendent (only KZ passport holders)
Responsibilities:
The job holder is responsible for offshore EPC commissioning detailed planning, execution, documentation and handover to offshore production operations. Main activities will include:
- Implementing , in close coordination with the Offshore Project Manager guidelines, the commissioning strategy, to deliver the Offshore Project’s Objectives;
- Ensuring that the Commissioning HSE aspects are fulfilled and in alignment with the company HSE policies and procedures;
- Detailed planning and implementation of the concerned commissioning schedule to ensure that the offshore part remain aligned to the Project’s milestones and suitably integrated with the installation and completion activities and overall commissioning plan and strategy ;
- Ensuring that any outstanding actions for mechanical for system hand over to commissioning are duly recorded and are effectively cleared as per the technical requirements.
- Coordinating and supervising the team executing the relevant discipline work activities and assisting with dedicated technical support as required, including mentoring and on the job training;
- Define offshore commissioning packages and phases;
- Managing the overall offshore commissioning performance of the various commissioning contractors;
- Managing the timely manpower mobilization and resources in order to meet the changing commissioning needs;
- Working closely with Construction and Hook-Up Superintendent to ensure that mechanical completion and pre-commissioning and commissioning priorities are properly addressed, integrated and executed;
- Organizing the handover of systems and relevant documentation to be delivered to Production Operations for acceptance;
- Managing Offshore Commissioning and Supporting start up activities;
Skills:
- Higher Professional Technical Education (Engineering/Technical degree or equivalent);
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in commissioning role in complex O&G onshore/offshore project;
- Good technical, communication and working skills;
- Organization ability in a multi-interface and technically demanding project;
- Ability to work with, and train local staff;
- Ability to adapt and respond to changes in ‘work-load’ and schedule demands;
- Knowledge of the relevant industry codes of practice, standards and procedures;
- Fluent in written and spoken English language;
