A mechatronic technician makes simple programs for controllers, i.e. for equipment control mechanisms that control the operation of sensors located on automated lines. Sensors send signals to equipment when one or another part takes up any position on the line, etc. When stopping any automatic equipment, the mechatronic technician must identify the cause of the interruption and eliminate it.
If he is not able to fix the problem himself, then he should seek help from an electrician, or an information technologist, or a mechanic / tuner. Mechatronics technicians with technical and vocational education are engaged in the assembly of machines and their commissioning.The mechatronic technician must have knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering, the theory of machines and mechanisms, metrology, robotics, the rules for compiling and reading electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, the design features of aggregates and electronic modules of mechatronic devices and systems, methods for identifying and replacing failed components parts of mechatronic devices,
according to a unified system of design documentation.
Mechatronics technicians must have the skills to read schemes, drawings, technological documentation, to control the main technical characteristics of mechatronic devices and systems, to
monitoring compliance with the operating rules of mechatronic devices and systems, for replacing failed components of mechatronic devices and systems with serviceable ones, and for preparing production and technical documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.
