Human Performance Specialist
- Have working knowledge of Human Performance Principles
- Be able to identify the difference between error and violations
- Have knowledge of Error and error traps
- Understand the human characteristics that can result in incidents and how to manage them
- Have ability in designing human performance into procedures (simplifying complicated topics to avoid confusion and by reducing the need for interpretation).
- Have knowledge & understanding of field operations (How tasks are conducted in the field)
- Have the ability to actively listen and engage with customers
- Be willing to further develop knowledge of Human Performance concepts and tools
- Be comfortable with the collection, compilation, organization, analysis, and interpretation of data in accordance with statistical best practices (at a minimum computation of descriptive statistics).
- Plan, assess, organize and control quality and schedule time;
- Human Factors Validation in Systems and Tools Engineering: Collaborate with design groups to ensure engineering compliance with Human Factors best practices and standards
- Develop verification and validation requirements for the development and upgrade of current and new systems and human-machine interfaces
