SUMMARY:

The NBS PR Officer coordinates and crafts a strategy for the public image of NBS. This includes updating content and news items on the NBS website and crafting and implementing a tailored SMM and advertising strategy to promote undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as the image of NBS more broadly.

DIRECT REPORTING RESPONSIBILITY: NBS Dean

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties are envisioned:

 - Plan and assist NBS Dean in crafting and implementing PR and recruitment strategy for NBS.

- Work as a liaison with visiting faculty, industry/government representatives, and facilitate partnership development for Narxoz and NBS.

- Develop and implement strategic planning specific to business school and institutes.

- Assist Dean and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies with program promotion and relevant recruitment efforts.

- Managing social media (post publication, plan content)

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Requirements for this position include the following:

- Experience in PR field; technical skills (Photoshop and video production) strongly preferred.

- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to plan and manage projects, and to lead teams in their implementation.

- Ability to work with people from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor’s degree or higher is required for appointment. A minimum of 3-4 years of administrative experience is typically required, though exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered. Experience in project management and technical skills relevant for PR are strongly preferred.
