Data Scientist
Responsibilities:
A Data Scientist uses advanced analytical methods to extract value from business data.
This position is part of the Data Analytics team within IT.
Uses Data Science expertise to solve business problems by developing, delivering, and supporting Data Science solutions and machine learning projects.
Understands data science project lifecycle and able to lead it.
Visualizes results using BI libraries and tools and presents to stakeholders.
Higher IT technical education, with two or more years' experience
Ability to program in R, Python and SQL
Experience with application installation, support and troubleshooting
Demonstrated problem solving/analytical skills. Can work with data to identify patterns and trends
Strong communication skills; engages with key customers and business stakeholders; can present and report on progress and success
Strong learning agility; rapidly acquires new knowledge and learns new skills
Highly motivated, proactive, ambitious, able to push and drive results
Experience in delivering high quality work on time with multiple, competing priorities.
Intermediate oral and written English communication skills
