Simultaneous Trilingual Interpreter

Requirements :

• Dealing with complex and different work tasks
• Interacting spontaneously with English/Kazakh/Russian speakers in a variety of work and social contexts.
• Understands a wide range of technical terms.
• Doing simultaneous translations at business meetings and VIP visits.
• Provide written translation (English-Kazakh-Russian) of scientific, technical and other documentation related to the operation of the department, memos, weekly, monthly, benchmark reports, information letters, operation instructions, correspondence between the department and the customers, minutes of the meetings, conferences, seminars etc. Create complex schemes, tables, spread sheets.
• Provide verbal interpretation (English, Kazakh, Russian) at the daily meetings, staff meetings, negotiations, business, VIP and meetings with government officials, etc.
• Conduct business trips. Trains less qualified interpreters and gives evaluation to the Supervisor

Responsibilities :

• English Language Educational Background
• Tengiz or Industry experience as a simultaneous translator would be a preference
• Experience 5+ years in trilingual simultaneous English/Kazakh/Russian translations
• Certificate as a simultaneous trilingual translator
• Has advanced knowledge and skill level of Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
• Works in Trados translation memory program
• Advanced Working Knowledge of Grammar, Vocabulary and Stylistics
