Head of Industrial Relations ( Atyrau 5/2)
MAIN FUNCTION:
- Maintain productive relationships between Contractors and its employees, to safeguard the interest of labor
develop harmonious relations, prevent collective industrial disputes/conflicts, labor unrest or the potential strikes or lockouts
- Effectively using trade unions as part of the Company society for eliminate pre-strike issues and decrease any damage to Company activities
- Collective Bargaining, signing of Collective Agreement and its effective implementation, following up General, Industrial, Regional Agreements
- Delivery of Industrial Relations Strategy by introducing relevant clauses into pre/post awards and NCOC contracts; support of Contract Holders, their proper training in taking active role in IR issues
- Taking pro-active actions to bring friendly environment to Company external reputation
- Participating in different working, expert groups to bring friendly legislative environment to Company
- Check compliance of Company Internal Acts for RoK Legislation
- Review and amendment of existing ones and development and implementation of new Departmental Internal Acts, instructions, policies, procedures if required
- Developing and implementing required activities in introducing and delivering Social Stability Index activities for maintaining productive relationships, analysis and required actions assess liability level of Contractors and Subcontractors
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:
- University Degree (HRM, Social Sciences, Legal preferable)
- At least 8-10 years previous experience with a medium to large company in the multicultural, corporate environment (preferably within Energy/O&G)
including experience in negotiating with government and local authorities
- 5 years of in a senior role managing teams across multiple sites/locations
- Good English language – intermediate/upper-intermediate
